Analogue or digital surveillance (AHD)

Installation of monitoring both inside and outside the property (e.g. along the fence, in the garden, at the entrance gate) generates high cost of the whole investment. Analogue system is much cheaper, so it can be deployed in more places, but if high resolution of the recorded video is important, the better solution will be digital equipment. In addition, AHD cameras can be equipped with sensors connected to a smartphone to alert you whenever any movement is detected at home.

Analogue technology transmits video with a delay (even a few minutes), so it may not work if you need to monitor the property remotely in real time. However, it is a perfect solution when the cameras have to be located in many places, and the cost of the whole investment is relatively low.
