How much do you need to spend on a gaming laptop?
For a real gmaing machine we have to pay about 7000-8000 PLN. Not everyone, however, has such a large budget, so it is worth considering whether you can slightly lower the price and still buy a device that will be able to handle the latest computer games.
Of course, playing on the highest possible detail and at 80 fps is out of the question. This will only be possible with models from the highest quality shelf. However, when you go down the step below, you will see a lot of decent laptops, such as Lenovo Y700.
Entertainment at an affordable price
Laptop is available in two strongest sets, which differ slightly in price. The first one is equipped with a 15.6-inch screen - so it is a typical stationary device. If you want to get the most out of your gaming experience, you shouldn't miss out on Intel Core HQ processors. They have four cores and their performance is not limited in any way (e.g. low TDP).
We can expect the most from Lenovo Y700 with i7-6700HQ. Its base clock is 2600 MHz - in the boost mode it grows to the level of 3500 MHz. The processor guarantees very high performance, which is immediately noticeable in games. If you want to save money, you can buy a model with an i5-6300HQ processor. However, it does provide lower performance.
Computer game enthusiasts should be interested in models using a dedicated graphics card. For this laptop it will be the Nvidia GeForce GTX 960M. It is distinguished by 4 GB of GDDR5 memory. It is a unit of high quality.
If you add DDR4-2133 RAM (up to 16 GB) to all of this, you get a laptop that should guarantee smooth gameplay with medium graphics settings in almost all of the latest productions. Among them we can mention the Witcher 3, No Man's Sky or Overwatch. But how much should I pay for a laptop like this? The price of the most efficient model oscillates around the border of 4000 PLN.
How about 17 inches?
The second set available on the market differs only slightly. It is a laptop with the same processor and graphics card, but it is equipped with a screen with a diagonal of 17.3 inches. Such a large device will not be very handy on the road, but it may be a good choice for home use.
The Lenovo Y700-17 can also support larger RAM dice (up to 32 GB). Both laptops support Full HD resolution and HDD (up to 1TB), SSD (up to 512GB) and SSHD (1TB+8GB) hard drives. For a bigger screen and more memory we will have to pay about 1000 PLN more.
For 4000-5000 PLN we will receive a laptop, which will guarantee us support for the latest computer games. Another company model, Lenovo IdeaPad 700, stands out for its similar capabilities. It is several hundred zlotys cheaper, but uses a slightly weaker graphics card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M).
