Greek Trade among Authorised Economic Operators (AEO)

Greek Trade Sp. z o.o. has just been granted the status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). This is another distinction of the company, which emphasizes its professionalism and growing quality of production.

AEO status is granted to those entrepreneurs who are reliable and solvent. They must have the organisation, infrastructure and adequate security of the IT systems and are responsible for ensuring the security of the storage areas for the goods and the products themselves. In addition, the requirements are appropriate means of transport and protection of goods against unauthorized access. All the above guidelines were met by Greek Trade, which made it one of the most distinguished companies in the world.

- What I can confirm, for my part, is that the road to victory was long and not always easy. Nevertheless, after almost a year of struggle we can boast of our success and AEO status - says Katarzyna Karasiewicz, Head of Foreign Logistics.

Authorised Economic Operators in connection with a very detailed audit, to which they are subject before obtaining the AEO certificate, enjoy certain privileges and facilitations. These include issues related to fewer document checks and physical checks, and in case of being selected for a check, the check is carried out out out out out of sequence. The entrepreneur then uses the possibility to submit less data for transport purposes, priority handling of customs declarations and all applications or the privilege of using a separate lane.

- All these activities support much more efficient production and allow us to obtain a guarantee of the highest quality, of which the whole company is proud - says Karasiewicz.
